When you register an account, submit a manuscript, subscribe to the circular or contact us, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, password (stored hashed), affiliation, ORCID iD, manuscript metadata and uploaded files. We use your data to operate and secure the platform, process manuscript submissions, send verification and notification emails, respond to enquiries, and improve our services. We do not sell personal data.
Processing is based on the performance of a contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate interests in operating a scholarly publishing service securely.
Account data is kept while the account is active. Submission records are retained for the duration of the editorial process and thereafter as needed for publication records, correspondence and quality assurance.
